WANA (May 13) – The spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said that during a recent session, General Hajizadeh stated the threats made against the Islamic Republic are baseless, the enemy is now more vulnerable than before, and it lacks the capability to damage Iran’s offensive systems.

Ebrahim Rezai, the commission’s spokesperson, provided details of a recent meeting between members of the commission and Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force.

During the session, General Hajizadeh presented an overview of the IRGC Aerospace Force’s recent operations, strategic plans, and current regional military and security developments.

He also outlined Iran’s latest advancements in missile and drone capabilities, emphasizing the country’s strengthened defense posture.

According to Rezai, General Hajizadeh elaborated on Iran’s missile operations “True Promise 1” and “True Promise 2,” stating that the latter was the largest missile operation in the world, during which over 75 percent of the missiles struck their targets successfully.

“The Zionist enemy was unable to withstand or intercept the attack,” Hajizadeh reportedly said.

Responding to recent hostile rhetoric, Hajizadeh dismissed enemy threats as unfounded. “The threats lack substance, and the enemy is now more vulnerable than in the past. They lack the capability to harm the Islamic Republic’s offensive systems,” Rezai quoted him as saying.

In reaction to Western and Israeli media claims that Iran has become weaker, Hajizadeh asserted that such narratives are fabricated and politically motivated.

“These are products of Hebrew and Western media propaganda,” he said, affirming that Iran’s power remains intact and that the country is stronger than ever before.
